A junior at Montclair State University was engaging in sexually explicit conversations with children online and getting them to send recorded videos of sex acts, according to law enforcement officials.
"I think that students want to be on campus ... more than they want a remote experience," Jordanna Maziarz, director of undergraduate admissions for Montclair State University, told New Jersey 101.5.
"Our short-term costs this semester alone are $11 million, and this does not take into account what we may experience in the fall," said Rider University President Gregory Dell'Omo.
A student filed a lawsuit against Montclair State because he believes it is not fair that students are paying the full amount for "subpar learning option."
