South Brunswick police said they received a 911 call from a man Monday afternoon who said the driver of a white Mercedes was throwing coins and spitting at his car as they headed south.
"Think about the consequences of your actions. If you can't do that, we'll be more than willing to help," said North Brunswick Police Capt. Brian Hoiberg.
A water main break in the area hampered firefighting efforts with water pressure at less than an ideal level for such a large fire, North Brunswick police Capt. Brian Hoiberg told New Jersey 101.5.
Flames broke out after 4 p.m. in the rear of the large warehouse-style building near Georges Road and Nassau Street in North Brunswick sending black smoke into the air.
