Although, this news doesn't surprise me, I'm sure it disappoints a lot of people, Irish or not. The Bucks County St. Patrick's Day parade has been canceled, due to Coronavirus concerns, according to Levittown Now.

I kind of figured this was coming after Philadelphia canceled their parade a few days ago. Health officials have suggested avoiding large groups to help stop the spread of the virus.

The decision was made last night by parade organizers to cancel the mass before the parade and the Hoolie as well.

As of yesterday, Bucks County only has two confirmed cases of Coronavirus, but, that number will most likely rise in the coming days and weeks.

The theme of the parade this year was going to be “Irish Pride and Public Service.” Retired Bristol Township police Lt. Terry Hughes was going to be the Grand Marshal.

This isn't the first time the parade's been canceled. It's been called off in the past because of bad weather.
