It has to be extremely stressful when you start hearing that your workplace will be closing multiple locations. NJ.com mentioned that Macy's will be closing 28 stores across the country.

There is some good news for Macy's employees in the state of New Jersey. According to NJ.com, out of the 28 Macy's stores that will be closing countrywide, New Jersey is not closing any of the department stores. We are sure that makes many Macy's employees very happy.

NJ.com reported that that the state the will be closing some of the Macy's stores are California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Washington.

As for Pennsylvania, 2 Macy's stores will be closing but neither one will be closing near the Philadelphia or Bucks County Area.

It was also mentioned on NJ.com that more will be shared by Macy's on February 5.
