I think what kept keeping people from going crazy for this entire month, was the hope that the coronavirus pandemic would come and go and we would be able to go to the beach this summer and enjoy ourselves. We've been looking for light at the end of the tunnel and telling ourselves that everything is going to be okay. Unfortunately, we may not be going back to our normal lives as quickly as we thought. I keep saying, I can do without seeing my Yankees play this year, I can do without going to a concert, just give me a beach and I'll be fine. But due to their possibly being a second wave of coronavirus and officials possibly not being able to regulate how many people are on the beach, I may not get to see Long Beach Island this year.

According to Tap Into Stafford/ LBI, Rob Snyder, a Pennsylvania native who now lives in Nashville, wrote a song about Long Beach Island named "Jersey" and it's giving me all the feels. Rob has strong connections to Long Beach Island as he sings in his song, "...it is just home to me. Always has been and always will be." Rob even sings in his song that his parents met in LBI and the music video features lots of footage of the beach, ocean, and everything we love about Long Beach Island. Rob made a big move to Nashville Tennessee in 2012 in hopes to work in the music industry as a songwriter. He's worked with some big country names like Luke Combs.

Hopefully we will still get to sit on the beach this summer. Check out Rob's song below and try not to cry when you see footage of the beach. To read more about Rob's favorite memories of the Jersey Shore, click on this article.
