On Tuesday, June 2, 94.5 WPST-FM will proudly take part in the music industry's The Show Must Be Paused initiative as part of the "Blackout Tuesday" movement.

It is important now more than ever that we use the voice of our station to not only take a stand, but to take action.

We support our black employees, colleagues, clients, friends, and community. We share your frustration and anger.

As part of this initiative, PST's regular programming will stop at 9 am. On the web, we will use this day as an opportunity to break from the regular news cycle while making an effort to connect with you, as well as stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Racism has no place here.

This is NOT a day off, but a time to take a beat and start the conversations about what needs to be done.

We are and will be in this for the long haul as we move forward in solidarity with our community to conquer hate.

What can you do on Tuesday, June 2, 2020?

If you have been impacted by the recent events, take a break - there is a lot going on and sometimes we all just need a minute. Take that minute.
