This Celebrity Was Just Arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport Today

Rapper Fetty Wap had a run-in with the cops yet again. He was arrested on Friday at Newark Airport after his ankle monitor went off while going through airport security. Police were tipped off and immediately arrested him on site.

According to TMZ, the police ran his info and discovered that there was a warrant out for his arrest. Apparently, he was wanted after he caused some type of public disturbance in North Bergen, New Jersey.

As of right now, Fetty Wap has been booked and is being held in jail. However, according to TMZ, he is expected to be released on bail soon.

If you didn't know, Fetty Wap is a New Jersey Native. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey.

He has had a lot of hardships this year. His 4-year-old daughter passed away back in June due to “a fatal cardiac arrhythmia due to complications of congenital cardiac anomalies," according to TMZ. He was also arrested just a few months ago for being involved in a huge drug ring in Long Island, New York, and New Jersey. He had been helping distribute cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and crack cocaine across the two states.

His ankle monitor most likely has to do with the drug incident and if that is the case, he shouldn't be allowed to leave the state of New Jersey. If he was at an airport, there is a possibility he was attempting to leave the state.
