The maker of America's most popular beer (according to USA Today) just announced that it has started to make hand sanitizer.

Anheuser-Busch says it will be using its "supply and logistics network to begin producing and distributing bottles of hand sanitizer to accommodate the growing needs across the United States."

This isn't the first time that the St. Louis-based company has used its resources to help communities in need.

According to anheuser-busch.com, the company has periodically paused beer production so that it could produce and distribute clean drinking water.  Since this program started in 1988, Anheuser-Busch has provided "81 million cans of water to U.S. communities affected by natural disasters."
