Here's some good news for current and future students at Bucks County Community College (BCCC).  According to a post on BCCC's YouTube page, the community college will not increase tuition for the 2020-21 school year.

In an online meeting, BCCC's board of trustees unanimously voted to freeze tuition costs.  According to bucks.edu, Bucks County residents pay $165 per credit, Pennsylvania residents outside of Bucks County pat $330 per credit, and out-of-state residents pay $495 per credit.

Bucks.edu says BCCC was founded in 1964.  The 2-year college has campuses in Newtown (main campus), Bristol, and Perkasie, as well as online courses.

In addition to the tuition freeze, a post on BCCC's Twitter page announced the following:

  • The school would continue with "remote instruction for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester."
  • This year's commencement ceremony was "going virtual."
  • And a Pass/No Pass option has been instituted for all classes this semester.
