Actress Sienna Miller appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week and discussed her role in the movie, American Woman.

According to IMDB, Miller was born in New York City, but was raised in London.  She speaks with a British accent, but her character in American Woman is from Pennsylvania, so she needed to learn a "Philly" accent.

In this clip from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Miller discusses how she perfected the accent.  (Note: The "Philly accent" part of the interview starts at around the 2:45 mark).

You can also check out part of Miller's performance in the trailer for the film.

So what do you think?  Does Miller pull off the accent?  Her performance has earned her overwhelmingly positive reviews, including praise from the Washington Post, the New York Times, and the LA Times.

American Woman is now playing at the AMC Hamilton 24, AMC Neshaminy 24 and several other local theaters.  You can find more information on the film's official website here.
