On its website, Costco just announced updated policies related to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Effective Monday, May 4th, "all Costco members and guests must wear a face covering that covers their mouth and nose at all times while at Costco."

In a statement, Costco President & CEO Craig Jelinek said, "We know some members may find this inconvenient or objectionable, but under the circumstances we believe the added safety is worth any inconvenience. This is not simply a matter of personal choice; a face covering protects not just the wearer, but others too."

In addition to the face covering policy, the following updated policies will also be in effect starting Monday:

  • Stores and gas stations will return to regular operating hours.
  • Guests over the age of 60 and people with disabilities will be able to shop between 9-10am at select locations.

Costco says it will continue policies regarding product limitations and return restrictions.  Click here to see the entire update that was posted today on costco.com.
