With spring upon us and summer rapidly approaching the question of what normal, seasonal activities will still be available for enjoyment have certainly entered the minds of Jersey residents. What does kettle corn, funnel cake and fun-colored trailers mean - carnival season.

The warm weather definitely brings with it memories of large crowds gathering on pop-up fair grounds to indulge in sweets and treats of all kinds, not to mention carnival rides and family games. Many carnival rides are off the menu for the time being but Skelly’s Amusements in Williamstown, New Jersey has made crave-worthy carnival treats available at safe distances.

According to Courier Post, a drive-up experience featuring all the carnival favorites will be held at their Route 322-Glassboro Road location. Picking up some sweet popcorn or funnel cake while abiding by social distancing protocol can certainly lift spirits and fill stomachs.

The drive-thru was tried out on April 18 and 19, where a some cars waited up to two hours for some of their favorite treats. Because of the financial crisis a lot of people are facing, mostly everything at the carnival is under $6.
