For those who aren’t getting all warm and fuzzy inside leading up to the day dreaded by singles, there are some events and locations for people of the same makeup this Valentine’s day in and around Burlington County. There are plenty of alternative activities on Feb. 14 that can be done solo or with some friends.

It’s never good to repress feelings, which calls for the occasional activity to release tensions and emotions.  What could be better than chucking axes at Stumpy’s Hatchet Houses throughout New Jersey.

Just because you may not have someone doesn’t mean you have to give up the chocolate.  On Feb. 7 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. there’s an annual Valentine’s Day Chocolate Walk in Bordentown City.  For only $5 you can casually go from store to store getting more and more treats.  On Feb. 8 there’s a Main Street Chocolate Walk from noon to 6 p.m. as well.

If you are anti-Valentine’s Day all together, there are some parties being thrown just for you.  Mudhen Brewing Co., a Wildwood brewpub, has an Anti-Valentine’s Day party Feb. 14, at 5 p.m.
