A United Airlines flight from the Colorado ski country to Newark, New Jersey, had to make an emergency landing after a passenger sneezed on Sunday, according to a report from USAToday.com. USAToday.com says people surrounding him became hysterical following the sneeze, and the plane was forced to make an emergency landing.

As a result of the passenger's sneezing and coughing a group of other passengers became disruptive on Sunday's Flight 1562. Crew members tried to get the situation under control, however, the passengers refused to follow their instructions. The plane landed in Denver, where the disrupted passengers were removed from the plane, according to USA Today.

It turns out the sick passenger was actually sneezing and coughing due to allergies. Officials screened the passenger, and they determined they did not have a fever. So the passenger was allowed to continue on the flight to its final destination at Newark Airport, the USA Today shares.
