Industries and business are suffering right now due to the coronavirus pandemic. Dozens  of states in our country are under stay at home orders set by their Governors, which means local businesses such as restaurants, hair salons and even gyms are not making any profits. The sad reality is, many small and local businesses may not recover from this pandemic and may have to close their doors for good. There are plenty of ways to support your local businesses like buying food from local restaurants or even purchasing gift cards if they have that option online. Any support is appreciated to help these businesses stay afloat.

According to The Patch, Fuel the Fight is an organization that found a way to support local restaurants as well as thank healthcare workers for all their doing. Fuel the Fight is an organization that began in Philadelphia, and they buy meals from local restaurants in Bucks County and then use those meals to feed healthcare workers in area hospitals. According to The Patch, they have already raised $5,000 and delivered meals to almost 400 healthcare workers at various area hospitals. They have already ordered from a few area restaurants, but if you have a favorite restaurant you'd like them to order from, you can email fuelthefightbuckscounty@gmail.com.

If you love what Fuel the Fight is doing, feel free to donate money to their GoFundMe page.
