Berlin Brewing Closing: What We Know About the NJ Brewery’s Goodbye
It's always a sad day when a local New Jersey business announces that it's closing its doors for good. Like, a few days ago, Rooted Coffee in Bayville officially closed its doors on Route 9, and seeing as it was one of my favorite spots for a cold brew, it was a devastating loss.
Now, a popular local brewery that was a hot spot for musicians is getting ready to close its doors, and again, it's a serious loss to the community.
NJ Is A Beer Drinkers' Paradise
New Jersey is home to some pretty amazing spots to grab a local brew (see our list of the state's best breweries below), and a lot of these breweries are family-owned and operated.
One of those breweries is Berlin Brewing, located off White Horse Pike in Berlin, NJ. For years, it's been a hotspot for open mics, local musicians, karaoke nights, and tons of fun community events.

Sadly, the owners announced via Instagram that Berlin Brewing is no more.
Why Did Berlin Brewing Close Its Doors?
There's no exact word given on why the popular taproom decided to close its doors. I do know it's a tough time to be a local business, but with all of the events that this place had, I would have thought they'd be doing well.
The silver lining here, if there is one, is that the owners are just saying "see you later" because it appears as though they still are going to do something with Berlin Brewing; it just may not be in the form of a brick-and-mortar taproom.
