Khloe Kardashian Says the ‘Breakup’ of Her Family ‘Was Tristan’s Fault’
Khloe Kardashian is clarifying earlier comments she made blaming Jordyn Woods for breaking apart her family.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star returned to Twitter on Saturday to address the scandal, blaming Tristan Thompson for the fallout from his cheating. Kardashian, 34, said in the tweet that the experience has been "painful," especially because it involved Woods — someone she was "so close" with. She added, however, that "Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup."
"This was Tristan's fault," she wrote in the message.
In another tweet, Kardashian said, "I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health & my beautiful baby True."
Her tweets came after she attacked Woods for appearing on Jada Pinkett Smith's Facebook show, Red Table Talk, to discuss the scandal from her point of view. Kardashian accused her of "lying," adding that she should have called her "PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST." She also said, "BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up."
In a follow-up tweet, Kardashian said, "Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child." She claimed he had "been addressing this situation PRIVATELY" with her, adding that she would address him publicly too if he "were to lie publicly" about what transpired between himself and Woods.
During her interview, Woods, 21, said Thompson kissed her on the lips on her way out of a party. She said there was "No passion, no nothing." The model added that her biggest regret was not telling Kylie Jenner —her best friend — and Kardashian what happened. She claimed she was trying to spare Kardashian's feelings, considering all that she has been through with Thompson already.
"I was trying to protect Khloe's heart," she said. "The last thing I wanted to do was be that person."
Woods denied that she and Thompson had any sort of relationship leading up to the kiss. She admitted that she shouldn't have been at Thompson's house that night, and refuted claims it went any further than the one kiss.
"Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, [or] sitting all over him," she said. "But my legs were laying over his."
