It's official, New Jersey's minimum wage just made sweet boost.

This is a great way to start off the new decade with a nice little pay increase for your check.

As of yesterday, January 1, 2020, New Jersey has increased their minimum wage to $11. "The increase comes just six months after many saw a $1.15 increase to $10 an hour." says nj.com.

These recent pay changes are all thanks to Governor Phil Murphy and his overall plan to raise New Jersey's minimum wage to $15 by 2024 and it seems like the plan is well underway.

With the exclusion of seasonal workers, farm workers and small business employees, "the minimum wage increases $1 each January until it hits $15 in 2024." according to nj.com.

Sounds pretty legit to me, it's great that Governor Murphy is really stepping up and speaking up for New Jersey employees so that they are able to keep up with the cost of living in the Garden State.
