NJ High School Receives $500,000 Donation from Marvel Executive
Marvel Studios is one of the world's biggest and most successful brands and according to nj.com, its president, Kevin Feige, just made a half-million dollar donation to the New Jersey high school he graduated from in 1991.
NJ.com says that the $500,000 donation will be used for audio and video equipment for the school's television station. Not surprisingly, Feige spend a lot of time in the studio when he was a student.
According to wikipedia, Feige was born in Boston in 1973 but raised in Westfield, NJ in Union County.
Wikipedia goes on to say that Feige attended USC and in 2000, he was hired as a producer by Marvel.
In his time at Marvel, Feige has produced some of the most successful movies of all-time, like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America: and The First Avenger. Earlier this year, the Feige-produced film, Avengers: Endgame, became the highest-grossing movie of all-time. According to imdb, to date, the film has earned almost $3 billion worldwide.
