Ocean City is Hosting a Virtual Block Party Right Now

Ocean City Downtown Merchants' annual Spring Block Party is happening today (May 2), but unlike previous years, this party is happening virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to organizers, the Spring Block Party will help support small businesses in the popular shore town.  The event page on Facebook, says about 40 Ocean City retailers are taking part in the virtual party, including The Spotted Whale, 7th Street Surf Shop, Timber + Vine, and Harbor Outfitters.

Here's an example of some of the deals that are available:

• 20% off the entire store at Seagrass Boutique;
• 20% apparel & gift cards at Monkey Bread;
• 15% off at Ike's Crabcakes;
• 50% off ride tickets at Castaway Cove and Gillian's Wonderland.
