Should You Avoid Buying Gas at Costco?

Every time I drive by a Costco, there seems to be cars lined up waiting to get gas, so I was surprised when, over the weekend, I came across an article on Business Insider with the headline "5 Reasons Why You Should Avoid Getting Gas at Costco."

The article does admit that gas prices at Costco are usually lower than at traditional gas stations, but one of the reasons to avoid Costco gas is the long lines.  We've all heard the adage "time is money," and Business Insider says that waiting up to an hour to fill up your tank just isn't worth it.

Business Insider also says that if you travel more than 20 miles to get to a Costco, you're actually wasting more gas (and money) on the drive than you'd be saving on the lower gas prices.

Costco has several locations in the area, including Lawrence, Warminster and Mt. Laurel.
