United Airline and Delta Give Travelers Longer Waive Period

Delta and United Airlines are coming in clutch for passengers that have purchased flights with them. According to USAtoday.com, if you purchased a flight on or before April 3rd and your trip was scheduled for April or May you have the opportunity to change the flight at no charge.

It was also mentioned on USAtoday.com that United Airlines will give passengers the opportunity to use travel credits within two years rather than one year. Delta is doing the same and extending the flight change to two years to give the passengers the opportunity to reschedule their trips.

We learned from USA Today that the two-year credit for United passengers starts on the date that the changes are made.

Delta was the airline that started the 2 years of credit and United followed right away. It is only right to be able to help travelers because no one is supposed to be traveling right now due to the coronavirus.
