Zombie Movie Set To Film In Atlantic City

According to the Press of Atlantic City, filming for a new Netflix movie will happen next month in the vacant Atlantic Club Casino Hotel, located on the boardwalk in AC.

The Press of Atlantic City says the film is called "Army of the Dead" and it is being directed by Zack Snyder ("300") and will star Dave Bautista ("Guardians of the Galaxy").

This is the description of "Army of the Dead" on IMDB...

"Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted."

Based on that, we can probably assume that the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel will be used as a stand-in for a casino in Las Vegas.

Snyder's bio on IMDB shows that Snyder directed another zombie movie, "Dawn of the Dead," in 2004.  That film has 75% positive critic reviews and 77% positive audience reviews on RottenTomatoes.com.

As of now, there is no word on when "Army of the Dead" will be released on Netflix.
