Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice Still There for the Community Virtually
Even though the amazing, accepting Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice headquarters on Wiggins Street in Princeton is temporarily closed due to the coronavirus crisis, it's still thriving for our beautifully diverse community virtually, and they'd love for you to be a part of it, according to Chief Activist, Robt Seda-Schreiber.
The center hosts a Social Justice Power Hour every weeknight from 7-8pm on their Facebook page. It's a ton of fun with great, relatable guests to "educate, enlighten, and entertain," as well as "performances, conversations, arts & crafts, dace parties, and more," according to their website. Sounds like something you don't want to miss.
This is a tough time for everyone, especially if you're someone stuck in a not-so-supportive or unaccepting home. The Bayard Center for Social Justice is there for you, so tune in. It will be empowering.
The Bayard Center for Social Justice is a community activist center, educational enclave, and safe-space for LGBTQIA kids, intersectional families, and all our beautifully diverse communities.
