A major fire ripped through a popular Quakertown (Springfield Township) restaurant Tuesday evening.

Officials say nobody was hurt in the blaze at Bubba's Potbelly Stove Restaurant, but the building appeared to suffer significant damage.

The first was first reported at around 4:30 pm on Tuesday.

Pictures and footage from 6ABC's helicopter over the scene appeared to show flames shooting through the roof of the restaurant located at 1485 N. West End Blvd (Route 309).

The restaurant appeared to be open for takeout during the coronavirus pandemic.

Images posted on The Morning Call's website showed extensive damage to the building as well.
