In 2015, according to Wikipedia, a musical stage show based on the 1999 film, Cruel Intentions, opened in Los Angeles.  From there, it moved to New York and starting tonight, it will play at the Kimmel Center in Philly.

Cruel Intentions: The 90's Musical Experience features some of the biggest pop hits of the 90's, including "Genie In a Bottle," "I Want It That Way," "Bye Bye Bye," "No Scrubs," and many more.

The show's website says the show is "the movie you love, set to the songs you know, performed live, with drinks."

There will be 8 performances at the Kimmel Center starting tomorrow and going through Sunday.  For showtimes and tickets, click here.

The 1999 movie, which was not a musical, starred a 23-year old Reese Witherspoon, as well as her future husband (now ex-husband), Ryan Phillippe, plus, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair.

In fact, in 2015, Witherspoon, Gellar and Blair posted pictures of them attending the musical in L.A.
