Delaware Memorial Bridge toll NOT Increasing!

I moved here almost two months ago at this point and I've already traveled to new york 3 times and Maryland twice. I'm always going somewhere. So I bet you can imagine that the tolls are KILLING ME!

Like why is it necessary for there to be 5 tolls from New York to Pennsylvania?? And don't get me started on when I have to drive to Maryland. So you can imagine my despair when I heard that there was a motion to increase the toll amount of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. To travel from Salem County to Delaware would rise from $4 to $5. I know that's not a lot, but it adds up, okay?

Thankfully Gov. Murphy vetoed the measure. Apparently, Gov. Murphy and Gov. Carney of Delaware are going to continue meeting to figure out a compromise.

So let's hope that compromise includes lowering the price. Wishful thinking ?
