If you're going to be out and about on the roadways this afternoon, officials are urging you to use extreme caution when driving in parts of our area.

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect until 5:15 pm for parts of our area. This includes Northwestern Burlington County, Southeastern Montgomery County, Southeastern Bucks County, and the City of Philadelphia.

Automated rain gauges and doppler radar estimate that as of 1:30 pm, up to 2 inches of rain has already fallen in parts of the area. As the thunderstorms continue to roll through the area, flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the area.

Locations that COULD experience flooding include Philadelphia, Camden, Bensalem, Mt. Laurel, Willingboro, Lumberton, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Mt. Holly, Tullytown, and more.

If you're driving this afternoon, the National Weather Service is reminding you to always "turn around, don't drown" when you encounter a flooded roadway. Most flooding-related deaths occur in vehicles.
