Freebies and Discounts for Veterans on Veterans Day

There are plenty of local freebies and discounts to honor our Veterans on Veterans Day this year.

Veterans Day is Monday, November 11th. In my opinion, it's one of the most patriotic days of the year. Each year, I proudly post my father's Army picture on my Facebook and Instagram, thanking him for his service to our country. If you see a Veteran, thank him or her. They'll appreciate it, trust me.

Many local restaurants and businesses also want to thank them by offering all kinds of freebies and discounts on food, drinks, and more.

Here are a few in our area from Veterans Advantage.

IHOP/IHOB
Free red, white, and blue pancakes with blueberries, strawberries, and whipped cream.

Krispy Creme
Military and Veterans get 1 free donut and small coffee on Veterans Day.

Buffalo Wild Wings
Their “Wings for Heroes” means you’ll receive one small order of wings with a side of fries.

Outback Steakhouse

Olive Garden
Choose from 6 popular entrees from Olive Garden’s menu for free on Veterans Day.

Houlihan's Restaurants
Participating Houlihan’s Restaurant + Bar locations will honor America’s veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2019 with a complimentary complimentary meal, in addition to the fifteen-percent food discount that is offered every day throughout the year.

TGI Fridays
Get a free lunch menu item up to $12 from 11 a.–2 p.m. Guests will also receive a $5 coupon for their next meal at Fridays. Offer for dine-in only.

Texas Roadhouse

Red Robin
