This is really great news!  Governor Murphy revealed in a recent press conference that he's going to follow through on his campaign promise and hopefully give NJ's minimum wage a big boost, but it may take a couple of years.  I saw on NJ.com that he wants a $6 per hour increase, starting this fall, setting the new minimum wage at $15 per hour, up from $8.60. But, the increase will be in phases to avoid "sticker shock" for area business. It's still a step in the right direction for all of the people who work so hard for very little money. A raise is coming, hang on!
