Hair Salon in Jersey Collecting Medical Supplies for Healthcare Workers
Spread the word! If you have any medical supplies in your possession, put them to good use by donating to our healthcare workers working the frontlines in battling COVID-19.
September's Hair and Nail Salon in Brick New Jersey will be collecting essential items such as gloves, masks, gloves, etc., this Friday. If you are someone you know works at a salon, tattoo parlor, dentist, nail shop and more, encourage them to donate some of the supplies they are currently not using. A lot, if not all non-essential businesses in New Jersey have been shut down by the government. It would be a big help to doctors and nurses who are terrified they will run out of supplies in a few weeks.
Even if you have a box of plastic gloves at home or a single mask you haven't used, all of those small donations will add up. The salon will be accepting donations on March 27th from 2 pm -8 pm.
Personal protective items being sought are:
Gloves and more gloves!
Surgical Masks
N95 Respirators
Disposable Gowns
Disposable Face Shields
Eye protectors
Nitrile Gloves
Latex Gloves
Antiseptic Wipes
HEPA Filters / Air Scrubbers
