Popular Amy’s Omelette House Expanding with New Somerdale, NJ Location
Bring on the breakfast! One of South Jersey's most popular restaurants is reportedly opening a location in Somerdale, NJ.
Where is Amy's Omelette House Located in New Jersey?
Currently, Amy's has three restaurants. In Cherry Hill (off Cuthbert Blvd.), in Burlington (on High Street), and in Long Branch (along Ocean Blvd.).
Locals in South Jersey Love Amy's Omelette House for Breakfast
Amy's doesn't just make your average omelette. Take, for instance, the Mama Mia, shown above, made with hot Italian sausage, fried peppers, onions, potatoes, and mozzarella cheese.
Or the aptly named 'New Jersey' omelette with bacon, tomato, and American cheese.
Mark from 42 Freeway, who tipped us off to the new Somerdale Amy's, has only good things to say about the restaurant. 'I've eaten at the one in Cherry Hill. It's amazing, delicious food. The menu is crazy how large it is.' Mark goes on to remark, 'I mean omelette house? You can't believe how many varieties of omelette they offer.'
Amy's Omelette House Coming Soon to Somerdale, New Jersey
Amy's is moving into the building formerly occupied by Starview Diner at 27 S White Horse Pike. And the transformation is already well underway inside the enormous space.
There's already a sign on the restaurant and the marquee by the side of the road has been updated to Amy's Omelette House.
Now, as 42 Freeway recalls, Starview Diner served alcohol. Knowing that Amy's serves brunch as well as breakfast and lunch, I was hoping to indulge in a Bloody Mary or Mimosa once it opens in Somerdale. But that won't be possible since Amy's reportedly will not be taking over Starview's liquor license.
Watch Mark from 42 Freeway describe more on the progress of the new Amy's Omelette House below.
