“The next time you're at the checkout counter and you hear the beep, you could be thinking of all of the fun you can have with former Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones on Supermarket Sweep.”

Earlier this week, we learned that Leslie Jones has left NBC’s Saturday Night Live (ahead of the show’s upcoming season). Of course, she’s busy working on other projects, and now we know about one of those exciting opportunities.

As of Tuesday evening, Deadline.com is exclusively reporting that Jones will be hosting the upcoming reboot of Supermarket Sweep. In fact, she’s going to be one of the show’s executive producers. The show is reportedly generating a lot of interest from multiple networks (including ABC, NBC, Fox and Netflix), Deadline reports.

Supermarket Sweep, a grocery store themed game show, has aired in several iterations over the years. The show’s most famous house was David Ruprecht in the 90s/early 00s.

The exact progress of productions and contracts for the revival was not immediately clear. Deadline.com's Nellie Andreeva's original reporting has more details about the revival and what's expected.
