Winter is here! Our area picked up quite a decent accumulation from the Blizzard of 2022.

A few years ago, I asked PST listeners to help me make a list of the best places to go sledding in our area.

My daughter and her friends LOVE to go sledding lately too. So that inspired me to make this list.

This storm happened on a weekend, so it's extra likely that hills across our area will be packed tomorrow as we all go sledding with nearly 9" of snow on the ground in parts of Mercer County — plus, there's even more snow on the ground in parts of Burlington County, and a TON more snow down the shore.

But for today, I put together a list of some of the top sledding locations in our area. I may have left some of the favorites off the list though.

The storm began, as forecasted around 6 pm on Friday evening, with the heaviest snow falling in the overnight hours and very early morning hours of Saturday. The brunt of the storm wrapped up by midday Saturday, however, lingering snow was still falling at the Jersey Shore.

Let's keep this list handy as winter is still pretty young. We often get snow well into March, so sledding may be an option in February and March 2022 across our area.
Did I leave any off the list? If so, let me know!
