Power In The Pines Air Show At JB-MDL Cancelled Due To COVID-19

The COVID-19 coronavirus cancellations continue throughout the area with Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst announcing the cancellation of 2020's Power in the Pines Open House and Air Show.

Ahead of Tuesday's standalone announcement (above), the news was first released in a Monday (March 16th) Facebook post within a larger update of information from base leadership:

Within the announcement, base officials also say that, "Other upcoming mass gatherings on base are being reviewed by Joint Base leadership for cancellation or re-scoping."
