Philadelphia is home base for getting people together. With that said, Hispanic heritage month is in full swing with almost every town celebrating this vibrant culture. This time around and coming up in just a few days is the Philadelphia Puerto Rican Day parade.

It will be taking place in the heart of the city of Philadelphia and will feature traditional Latino music, poetry, and dance. You’ll have to wake up early to be a part of this celebration, it begins at 8am at The Oval in Philly and ends at 11am. Can’t make it? Show your support by tuning in to watch it live on 6ABC.

According to elconcilio.net, this event will be held on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and will mostly likely have around 1,500 marchers; more than 5,000 attendees; and 96,000 tune-in to watch live on 6ABC.
