Athing Mu

Sydney McLaughlin and Athing Mu were cheered in their New Jersey hometowns, a day apart, after returning with gold medals from the Tokyo summer games.

The parade will be held this upcoming Sunday (August 29), Trenton's Mayor Reed Gusciora just announced on Facebook.

There's a banner with her picture on it at City Hall, too.

Moments ago in the final race, McLaughlin finished in first place during the women's 400 meter hurdles.
