As the Real ID deadline arrives today, the TSA has announced enhanced screening procedures that should still allow most individuals to board a domestic flight. Eric Scott explains how the new procedures will work.

Those who still lack an identification that complies with the REAL ID law “may be diverted to a different line, have an extra step,” Homeland Security chief Kristi Noem said.

As in-person Real ID appointments at NJ MVC offices continue to be a hassle, Majority Leader Lou Greenwald has introduced a bill that would require the MVC to establish and administer an online application for the Real ID.
