In an effort to help the struggling restaurants and eateries in Hamilton Township (Mercer County) during this challenging economic time, the Mayor, Jeff Martin, has named Wednesday, May 27th "The Great Hamilton Take-Out," according to TAPinto Hamilton/Robbinsville.

What is The Great Hamilton Take-Out? How can you help?  It's easy. All you have to do is order take-out food during the day or night on May 27th from one, or a few, of the eateries in Hamilton to give them a financial boost. There are over 200 places to choose from...bakeries, delis, pizza places, coffee shops, and restaurants of all kinds. Go with an old favorite, or make this the day you finally try that place you've been meaning to try.

Mayor Jeff Martin said, “Hamilton’s restaurants have been an integral part of the fabric of our great town. They have given back to our community over the years – donating to our sports teams, our schools, non-profits, various other organizations and events. Now it is our turn to be there for them. I ask those who are able, to join me in giving back by ordering takeout, curbside or delivery from one or more of our local food establishments throughout the day. Together we can show our restaurants and their employees that we are in this together, we are Hamilton Proud!”

Make sure you give the place or places you choose some love on social media that day. Take pictures and post your delicious food, tell your friends to order take-out too, and use the hashtags  #GreatHamiltonTakeOut and #HopeIsInHamilton.
