It's the season of shopping. Oh, you know how much I love to shop. Did you know that this Saturday, November 24th, is Small Business Saturday?

Do you even know what that is?

It's when you take a break from online shopping and shopping at all those big, chain stores, and you shop at all the smaller, amazing, locally owned & operated businesses right here in our area. It's always the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

It even has its own hashtags - #smallbizsat #shopsmall #shoplocal.

There are so many absolutely fabulous, small businesses in our area for you to discover. It's the perfect time to start your holiday shopping or grab some treasures for yourself. I love to shop and eat locally...some of my favorite shops and eateries are in Cranbury, Lawrenceville, Pennington, Princeton, Hightstown, Hopewell, Lambertville, Hamilton, Bordentown, Allentown...ahh, there are so many.

So, get out there and shop local this Saturday. Support our local businesses if you want to see them stay around, and, if you're in Lawrenceville, make sure you grab a treat, or a few, at a few of my favorite places: Cafe Du Pain, The Gingered Peach, The Purple Cow, Scoops & Swirls, and more.

Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
