If you spent any time in Philly over the last week or so, you may have seen someone that looked familiar to you.  You may have even said to yourself, "That looks like that guy from How I Met Your Mother."

Well, according to Philly.com, "that guy" may have actually been "that guy."  More specifically, actor Jason Segel, who played Marshall on How I Met Your Mother and also starred in the cult TV show, Freeks & Geeks, and the popular movie Saving Sarah Marshall.

Philly.com says that Segel is filming a new TV show in the City of Brotherly Love and that he's been spotted at places like the Whole Foods on South St. and at the restaurant a.kitchen+bar on S. 18th St.

The new show is called Dispatches From Elsewhere and according to the website deadline.com, Segel is not only the star of the show, he is also the creator.  Dispatches From Elsewhere will also star Academy Award winning actress, Sally Field.

Deadline.com says the 10-episode show, which will air on AMC, is about "a group of ordinary people who stumble onto a puzzle hiding just behind the veil of everyday life. They will come to find that the mystery winds far deeper than they ever imagined."  Production will take place throughout the summer in Philly and as of now, there is no date on when it will air.
