Jersey-born twins Jason and Devin McCourty will play in the Super Bowl on Sunday. It's the first time that twins will compete in the game.

According to NorthJersey.com, twins Jason and Devin played football together in high school in Montvale, NJ. Then, they played together at Rutgers.  And this year, for the first time in the professional careers, they played on the same NFL team.  That team happens to be the New England Patriots, which means that this Sunday, the McCourty twins will both be playing in Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.

This will be Devin's fifth trip to the Super Bowl (all as a member of the Patriots). On Sunday, he'll look to earn his 3rd Super Bowl ring.

Meanwhile, this season was the first time in Jason's nine years as a pro that he has ever been on a team that has even made the playoffs.

Jason spent 8 years with the Tennessee Titans and one year with the Cleveland Browns.  He was traded from the Browns to the Patriots last March, and less than a year later, he'll be appearing in the biggest game of his life.
