If you're an adult, there are lots of things to do in Atlantic City. Of course, you can gamble, see a show or concert, or hang out at a bar or nightclub. But the number of "family-friendly" activities are limited.

According to an article published on pressofatlanticcity.com, the owner of the Showboat hotel would like to bring a whole new level of family entertainment to AC.

Pressofatlanticcity.com says that Bart Blatstein said today that he plans on building a $100 million water park next to his Showboat hotel with construction starting in August.

Although Showboat was once a hotel and casino, today it only operates as a hotel.

Yesterday, according to pressofatlanticcity.com, Blatstein applied for a state tax credit that would help finance the building of the water park.

Pressofatlanticcity.com points out that this isn't the first time a water park has been proposed for Atlantic City. Plans announced in 2012 and 2017 both ended up not happening.
