A couple of weeks ago, we told you that Carrie Underwood was the first performer announced for the Barefoot Country Music Fest, which will be happening June 19-21 on the beach in Wildwood, NJ.

Now, according to a tweet on the festival's official Twitter account, we've learned that The Voice coach Blake Shelton will also perform at the festival.

According to Wikipedia, Shelton broke onto the country music in 2001 with his single, "Austin".  He was a well-established country music star for several years before becoming a "household name" in 2011 when he was one of the original judges on NBC's hit series, The Voice.

The Voice has not only propelled Shelton to super-stardom, it also the place where he met his current girlfriend, Gwen Stefani.
