Penn State’s Abington campus was closed for several hours on Tuesday because of a possible threat.

Just before 11:15 am on Tuesday, however, school officials announced that the campus was re-opening. In fact, classes on the Montgomery County campus will resume after 2 pm, according to officials:

The exact nature of the threat was not immediately clear, however, during the alert earlier today campus officials alerted anyone on campus to "remain inside." Classes earlier in the day were also suspended during the threat.
