Captain Paul’s Firehouse Dogs Voted “Favorite Ice Cream Shop” on WPST.com

We asked and you responded… in record numbers!

Yeah, we were so excited for the warmer weather that we have been asking you to vote on wpst.com for your favorite local ice cream shop. We had more than 12,000 total votes over the past week for the ice cream shops we listed on our site.

And the winner of YOUR favorite ice cream shop is…

Captain Paul’s Firehouse Dogs in Lawrence Township, NJ. Captain Paul’s had about 32% of the total vote beating out Jo-Jo’s in Levittown (24% of the vote).

Congratulations Captain Paul’s Firehouse Dogs. Their ice cream menu certainly is one of our favorites, too, of course.

Rounding out the top five vote-getters were Purple Cow Ice Cream in Lawrence Township, Dairy Delite in Levittown and TK’s Ice Cream in Cream Ridge, NJ.

We have to admit that we were a little surprised that some the “usual local favorites"  in Princeton (like Halo Pub, Thomas Sweet and The Bent Spoon) didn’t make the top five.

But that's how the voting goes sometimes. After all, it’s tough to choose just ONE favorite, right?
