Cherry Hill Could Be Getting a New Taco Bell

If you live in or around Cherry Hill, you may be able to celebrate Cinco de Mayo 2021 at a brand new Taco Bell.

According to an article posted on courierpostonline.com, a suburban Philadelphia developer, Summerwood Corp., has proposed opening a new Taco Bell on Route 70 East in a shopping center that is currently home to Off/Aisle by Kohl's, Leslie Pools, and Planet Fitness.

Courierpostonline.com says that according to the proposal, over 50,000 cars pass by the shopping center on a daily basis.

There is currently a Taco Bell located on Haddonfield Rd. in Cherry Hill and another located nearby on Route 73 in Maple Shade.

A restaurant industry website called qsr.com says that Taco Bell is the 4th most popular fast food restaurant chain in America (behind McDonald's, Starbucks, and Subway).

According to qsr.com, these are the most popular Mexican or TexMex fast-food restaurants in the U.S.

TacoBell.com says that the restaurant was created by Glen Bell in Downey, CA (Southeast Los Angeles) in 1962. By 1967, Taco Bell opened its 100th location.

In 2019, spoonuniversity.com proclaimed the Nachos Fries Box as the best item at Taco Bell. It was followed by the Cheesy Gordita Crunch and the Doritos Locos Tacos.

I know a lot of people say Taco Bell isn't authentic enough for them, but I'm a fan. My personal favorite used to be the taco salad at Taco Bell, although now I usually get the 3 Crunchy Tacos Combo or a Grilled Steak Soft Taco. And you can't go wrong with a Nachos BellGrande.
