DC Comic's upcoming movie, SHAZAM!, is set in Philadelphia and the production crew was spotted a few months ago filming in the city.

It would have been nice to see a movie about Philadelphia film entirely in the city of Brotherly Love, but Philly Voice reported that most of the movie was shot in Toronto, Canada. Yet to make sure Philly's true landscape was incorporated into the movie they filmed at Philadelphia Museum of Art, and they also filmed aerial shots of the city. Though it's not confirmed, it looks like in the trailer (above) they even tried to recreate the Christmas Village at the 2:25 mark.

In the latest trailer released for China, Philly Voice noticed that a city landmark becomes a victim of a big fight scene. The William Penn statue that overlooks the city on top of City Hall gets destroyed at around 52 seconds into the latest trailer below.

I can't wait to see Philly's superhero, Shazam, on the big screen soon. Its official release date is April 5th. Compared to Marvel, not many fans and critics have been praising the majority of their movies. I think this one will be a win for them though.
