Karen Alfano, most recently of Ewing Township, had a surprise guest to her new home in Myrtle Beach, SC.

That surprise visitor was actually an alligator, who actually tried to ring the doorbell at Alfano's new home at the Myrtle Beach Golf and Yacht Club, 6 ABC reports

Here’s Karen’s footage of the incident:

Karen was walking back to her new home when she spotted gator climbing her front door, according to 6ABC's reporting.

The new South Carolina resident recorded footage of the alligator on her porch before she called authorities. Officials were able to safely remove the alligator from her property.

Karen took the visitor in good stride. She told WSOC-TV that the encounter was “the coolest thing that could ever possibly happen to anyone.”

Some shelves in front of her home were damaged, but the reptile did not break the hurricane window in her front door.
