Getting Your Mask And Glasses To Get Along Better
It's not uncommon for any relationship to hit a bump or two during our current conditions, but know you're not alone. Glasses and masks are having a tough time, too.
Of course, this is not a new problem for medical professionals and anyone who has been using masks daily for years. But for those of us who wear glasses, (75% of Americans) and are just now getting used to masks on a regular basis, this is a pretty new problem.
There are some weird ways you may have heard about involving saliva, etc., but here are some logical, and more traditional tips according to Refinery 29...
Tuck it under...Pull the mask high enough to use the weight of the glasses to hold it down to eliminate the gap between the two.
Adjust the nose...using a mask with a nose adjustor can really help. If you don't have one of those, you can make one using pipe cleaner or tape.
Good old soap and water...Wash them with soap, rinse them with warm water, and let them air dry.
Our medical professional heroes have been dealing with this problem a lot longer than we have, but now it's time for all of us to see things more clearly. Now that you know you'll be able to let your mask and glasses live in harmony.
